RiverBend Counseling has added Kenzi Gray, LPC-Associate, to its clinical team in New Braunfels. Kenzi sees clients in person at the practice's North Walnut Avenue office and online across Texas.
Kenzi works with teens, young adults, and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where they fit in. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, self-esteem, identity exploration, neurodivergence, and major life transitions. She has a particular focus on supporting LGBTQ+ clients as they work through relationships, belonging, and the challenge of feeling understood by others.
Much of her work centers on young adulthood. College, graduation, early independence, and the uncertainty that comes with figuring out who you are and where you are going. Her approach draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
"A lot of young people we work with are worried they will be judged for who they are. Kenzi takes that off the table on day one. She listens, she does not rush anybody, and that is what keeps people coming back," said Jay Jeter, LPC-S, owner of RiverBend Counseling.
Kenzi practices under the supervision of Jay Jeter, LPC-S. She is accepting new clients in person in New Braunfels and by telehealth throughout Texas.
RiverBend Counseling has served the New Braunfels area for more than 25 years. The practice's clinicians work with individuals, couples, and families across a range of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, grief, anger, and relationship strain.
